Objectifs

- To know the key principles of sustainable chemistry, environmental health and safety.
- To learn the applicable environmental laws, regulations and the appropriate technologies for protecting air, water and land resources.
- To know strategies and technologies currently in use in life cycle assessment and ecodesign
- To know strategies and technologies currently in use for eliminating, reducing recycling, handling, treating, storing and disposing of pollutants into the environment.
- To know an overview of the fundamentals of industrial hygiene. Emphasis will be placed on the toxicological effects of various industrial substances on the body; monitoring and personal sampling for these substances and personal protection against such substances..
Formation expérimentale : Study of case for the life cycle assessment of an industrial product

Pré-requis recommandés

1st cycle degree or a bachelor degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bio-chemical Engineering, or equivalent degrees in one of the previous domains.
