La formation est destinée à des managers responsables dans le domaine de la comptabilité, du reporting, contrôle, audit et finance, afin de mettre à niveau leurs compétences en matière de reporting durabilité.
Du fait de l’entrée en vigueur d’une nouvelle réglementation Européenne à partir de 2025, dite Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD), les professionnels actuellement en poste expriment une demande de formation spécifique à ce sujet. Si cette directive est réservée à de grandes entreprises, elle fournit un cadre général relatif aux domaines et principes de reporting durabilité qui seront par la suite applicables aux petites et moyennes entreprises (au travers de la recommandation Voluntary Disclosures for Small and Medium Entreprises – VSME). Ces recommandations européennes ont pour objectif d’accompagner les entreprises dans le pilotage de la transition écologique, et dont la communication aux parties prenantes constitue un facteur clé de succès.

This training is designed for lifelong learners with the aim of updating their skills in sustainability reporting, in accordance with the European regulatory framework.
Due to the entry into force of a new European regulation in 2025, known as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), professionals in business companies are expressing a need for specific upskilling on this topic. Around the CSRD, Europe has developed a general framework for the areas and principles of sustainability reporting that will subsequently apply to small and medium-sized enterprises (through the Voluntary Disclosures for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises – VSME) recommendation. These European recommendations aim to support companies in steering the ecological transition, and communication with stakeholders is a key factor in their success.
The content is design and updated by lecturers from the University of Montpellier and Trinity College Dublin. It reflects the latest developments of the Omnibus package as of April 2026.

Objectifs
Cette micro-certification permettra d’attester de la maîtrise des éléments fondamentaux de ce nouveau cadre réglementaire Européen, participant d’une diffusion plus large des objectifs de développement durable auprès du monde économique, et en cohérence avec les ambitions de l’alliance CHARM-EU.
- Initier les professionnels ayant des responsabilités dans le management des entreprises au exigences de la réglementation CSRD ainsi qu’aux principes d’élaboration distinctifs du reporting durabilité, par comparaison et en complément d’un reporting financier dit traditionnel

This micro-certification will serve as proof of proficiency in the fundamental elements of this new European regulatory framework, contributing to a broader dissemination of sustainable development goals throughout the business community, and aligning with the ambitions of the CHARM-EU alliance.
- To familiarize professionals with management responsibilities in companies with the requirements of the Sustainability Reporting regulations, as well as with the distinctive principles of sustainability reporting, by comparing it with and complementing so-called traditional financial reporting.
Savoir-faire et compétences
- Identifier les principales réglementations (CSRD, Taxonomie, SFDR) et leur portée stratégique pour les organisations.
- Identifier le rôle des institutions européennes (EFRAG, ESMA) dans l'élaboration et la supervision des exigences de reporting.
- Déployer une approche de matérialité structurée intégrant les impacts ESG (inside-out) et les risques/opportunités financiers (outside-in).
- Structurer le reporting développement durable selon les normes ESRS.
- Évaluer l'alignement des activités économiques avec la Taxonomie Verte Européenne.
- Produire les indicateurs requis (chiffre d'affaires, CAPEX, OPEX alignés).
- Contribuer à la fiabilité et à l'assurance du reporting développement durable.
- Structurer le reporting durabilité d’une organisation non soumise à la CSRD selon les recommandations de la VSME.

- Identify the key regulations (CSRD, Taxonomy, SFDR) and their strategic implications for organizations.
- Identify the role of European institutions (EFRAG, ESMA) in developing and overseeing reporting requirements.
- Understand what structures a materiality approach that integrates ESG impacts (inside-out) and financial risks and opportunities (outside-in).
- Structure sustainability reporting in accordance with ESRS standards.
- Assess the alignment of economic activities with the European Green Taxonomy.
- Provide the required metrics (revenue, CAPEX, and OPEX, all on a comparable basis).
- Contribute to the reliability and assurance of sustainability reporting.
- Structure the sustainability reporting of an organization not subject to the CSRD in accordance with the VSME’s recommendations.

Il s’agit d’une formation courte, évaluée à un effort de 12H pour l’apprenant, et offerte totalement en ligne asynchrone, en tant que module de base des connaissances à avoir dans le domaine.
Ce mode d’enseignement a été choisi afin de s’adapter au rythme et modes d’apprentissage privilégiés par les personnes en emploi dans le cadre de la formation continue.
Le programme a été mis à jour avec le Package Omnibus, jusqu'en avril 2026.

This is a short course, estimated to require 12 hours of learner effort, and offered entirely online in an asynchronous format as a foundational module covering essential knowledge in the field. This delivery method was chosen to accommodate the pace and learning styles preferred by working professionals pursuing continuing education.
The program is updated with the Omnibus package, to april 2026.
