The goal is to provide fundamentals in hybrid and composites as well as in membranes.

Course content:
1. General definitions of hybrid and composite materials
a-Hybrid materials: definition and main properties
b- Composite materials: definition and main properties
2. Surface modifications
3. Preparation, shaping of hybrid and composite materials
4. Industrial applications of hybrid and composite materials
5. Hybrid and composite membranes


To get basic knowledge about:
- the main types of hybrid Materials
- the main type of composites and nanocomposites materials
- The modification of surface at nanoscale
- The different fabrication methods of hybrid and nanocomposites materials
- Overview on the different types of hybrid and nanocomposites membranes.

Pré-requis recommandés

1st cycle degree or a bachelor degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bio-chemical Engineering, or equivalent degrees in one of the previous domains.
